                              RESOLUTION NO. 21505
                
                
                 A RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING AND EXPRESSING
                 APPRECIATION TO THE NATIONAL SOFTBALL
                 ASSOCIATION ("NSA") FOR HOLDING ITS ANNUAL
                 TOURNAMENT IN THE CITY OF CHATTANOOGA.
                
                
                                                    
                
                
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, that the City of Chattanooga hereby
       recognizes and expresses its thanks and appreciation to the
       National Softball Association for holding its annual tournament 
in
       the City of Chattanooga during the Summer of 1997.  The officials 

       of NSA, the players, coaches, families and fans all conducted
       themselves in an exemplary manner, both on and off the field, and 

       it was a distinct pleasure to have them visit our City.
